The perfect way to illustrate the success of Synchronised Cabling Solution Ltd (SCS) is by looking at the company's project portfolio.
Based in Newtownabbey, this truly unique multifaceted company is enjoying an excellent year, despite the difficult economic climate, and SCS is predicting 2010 to be its most profitable to date!
SCS recently continued its seven-year relationship with Belfast International Airport by working on three recent projects. The first was to install a Digital Signage package at the airport's check-in, which included all joinery work, the installation of 80 LCD screens and a complete network/software solution.
The second project is still ongoing and is for the installation of a high-speed single mode fibre optic network, which includes a link to air traffic control and, on the third project, SCS is working with JBE Building Services on the airport’s £10million refurbishment. SCS's sole Director, Andrew Smyth, said, “We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Belfast International Airport and, like all our projects, we provided full support and training on all installations.”
However, projects of this nature form just one small part of the work carried out by SCS and, since the company was formed in 2003, it has built up an enviable and varied customer base. Other recently completed projects include the installation of 66 interactive whiteboards at Grosvenor Grammar School, Belfast and a complete Cat6 network at Ballymena Jobs and Benefits Office. SCS is also currently working on a number of varied and challenging projects. This includes church installations that incorporate Cat6 networks, SMATV, projection systems, deaf loops and sound systems. In addition, SCS is installing 66 interactive white boards at Boys' Model School, Belfast as well as working on home automation schemes which incorporate Cat6 networks, CCTV, door entry, cinema rooms,
telephone systems and multi-room music with servers.
SCS is authorised in Northern Ireland for the installation of Promeathean and Smartboards interactive systems and the company is also set to launch an exciting new digital mobile marketing solution, known as Eco Media Vision, in the coming months.
