STENA LINE BELFAST GIANTS

The Stena Line Belfast Giants are a professional ice hockey team based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and compete in the UK’s Elite Ice Hockey League. They are the current champions for the 7th time in their history.

As part of a huge upgarde of the ice hockey team’s changing facilities at the SSE Arena, Belfast, SCS were delighted to install Promethean ActivPanels and training to coaching staff of the Stena Line Belfast Giants to help the team with their analysis and tactics. W5, BELFAST

SCS were thrilled to be involved with one of Belfast’s best visitor attractions installing Promethean ActivPanels and training for staff. Offering thought-provoking fun for all the family, W5 sparks imaginations through hands-on play that inspires curious minds. Over four floors, 250+ interactive exhibits and experiences engage your senses, exploring everything from nature and climate change to optical illusions, film and TV production and how the human body works,

BRITISH TELECOM

For BT, SCS is solving mobile communication problems inside commercial buildings, Emergency Operations Centres and other structures.

We have supplied systems and expertise to customers all over Northern Ireland.

SCS’s In-Building repeater packages (also referred to as “Distributed Antenna systems”) and custom systems bring in mobile phone signals from outside, greatly reduce the potential of experiencing “dropped calls” and allow mobile phone users to use their phone even deep inside buildings, basements, Car Parks and other areas.

SCS has also worked closely with BT Openzone to provide Wi-Fi enabled premises such a Belfast International Airport and numerous Hotels throughout Ireland.

Power: Complete power installation for Flight Information Systems in Check-

Telephony: Complete voice infrastructure, including external and internal multi-core cabling, distribution cabinets, test jack frames  and emergency telephones

Single Mode Fibre Backbone:  10Km of 48core 9/125 fibre optic cable laid in ring topology originating from Main Terminal and returning via Air Traffic Control, Cargo, Engineering buildings

TV and Information Screens: 140no internal and external LCD and Plasma display screens supplied and installed, TV distribution and PC controls

Projectors: Mitsubishi DLP Projectors and Electric Screen installation in Board Room and Meeting Rooms.

Wi-fi: Supply and installation of BT Openzone including 12no access points, Supply and Installation of Wi-fi solution for WH Smith, including Power Over Ethernet (POE) access points

SOUTH EASTERN HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE TRUST

Glenmore Cottage, provided by the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, is a modern purpose built bungalow situated in a community setting with access to local shops, school, post office, leisure and transport and to the many and varied facilities in the Lisburn area. It provides medium to long term care to four children/young people aged 12-18 years with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
